2015 NOOSA TRIATHLON

Competitors and Spectators will flock to the Queensland shores this weekend to take part in Australia's largest Triathlon event! Held as part of the Noosa Triathlon and Multi Sport Fesitival, the Noosa Triathlon is considered the pinnacle event of the racing season and this year is sure to impress! 2015 will host an ocean swim start on the Noosa Main Beach for the event, before athletes take to the streets as they fight it out for the Noosa Triathlon crown! Olympic hopefuls Jake Birtwhistle, Emma Moffatt and Ashleigh Gentle will look to prove themselves on the course, and continue on their journey on the Road to Rio. Meanwhile 2016 Olympic Team Member Aaron Royle will have to watch from the sidelines after having to withdraw with a calf injury. ITU's Under 23 World Champion Jake Birtwhistle enters the race as favourite to win following the withdrawal of defending champion, Royle.
