Triathlon Australia have confirmed that the Championships will be the main selection race for the elite national team to compete at the Adelaide 2015 ITU Duathlon World Championships.

Adelaide World Duathlon General Manager, Jenny Mann, expressed “we are thrilled that Sports Chiropractic Australia are supporting the continental championships, and as a result we expect a high quality elite field to race on the 19th of October, including some of the best duathletes in the world”.

“Australia has proven its depth in the sport, though our current Under 23 World Champion, Gill Backhouse, and World Junior Champion, Jake Birtwhistle.  There will be some tough racing at the SCA Elite Oceania Championships, with competitors vying for three available spots on the Australian team for next year’ said Ms Mann.
