COVID-19 has forced changes to our regular way of life and has presented significant challenges as we all attempt to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.

Together, Triathlon Australia’s National Leadership Team, has spent considerable time over the past weeks and days adapting our strategies to meet the current demands of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We all must do our part to mitigate the spread of the virus.  When we do, our ability to flatten the curve is dramatic.

Triathlon Australia has compiled a comprehensive 'Frequently Asked Questions' document on the impact of COVID-19 on the below topics:

TRIATHLON AUSTRALIA AFFILIATED CLUBS

CAN I STILL TRAIN WITH MY AFFILIATED TRIATHLON CLUB?

The Australian Government issued updated guidelines on non-essential public gatherings on Sunday March 29, limiting most indoor and outdoor non-essential gatherings to 2 people.

As a triathlon community we need to be part of the solution, not the problem that Government is trying to tackle by social distancing and reducing large gatherings.

All members should adhere to the Australian Government’s guidelines regarding social distancing and non-essential gatherings. Please consider training by yourself, or at home where possible.

You should always keep 1.5 METRES AWAY from people, avoid any handshakes or physical contact with people outside your family.
