ITU ABU DHABI (UAE) WORLD TRIATHLON SERIES (MARCH 6, 7) SPRINT DISTANCE (750m; 20km; 5km):
On March 6-7, 2015, the ITU World Triathlon Series - the world’s pinnacle triathlon circuit contested by the best Olympic competitors - comes to Abu Dhabi city, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The exclusive Abu Dhabi Sailing & Yacht Club will host the Sprint race format with the race unfolding along the breakwater opposite the Abu Dhabi Corniche – that forms a sweeping curve on the western side of the main Abu Dhabi Island. It will feature a 750m swim off the Volvo Ocean Race yacht pontoons, while the looped 20km bike and 5km run courses, will follow and feature a turnaround point along the Corniche Road starting and finishing at the Sailing & Yacht Club.

IRONMAN NEW ZEALAND, TAUPO, NEW ZEALAND (MARCH 7TH):
With half the field coming from outside the country every year, IRONMAN New Zealand is truly the world’s most international IRONMAN. One of the world’s biggest fresh water lakes offers arguably the best swim on the circuit. A two-loop bike course comes back through town before heading through the forests and a three-loop run course leaves you no chance to escape the thousands of spectators. The race also offer 50 qualifying slots for the IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

Wollongong’s stunning harbour precinct and blue mile of Wollongong City will come alive again this March with a festival of fitness, health and family fun that offers everyone the chance to "have a go" or come along and enjoy the colour and spectacle of the sport of triathlon.
