Triathlon Australia urges all age group athletes to carefully read the 2023 Australian Age Group Triathlon Team Selection Policy (Hamburg and Pontevedra) and or the 2023 Australian Age Group Multisport Team Selection Policy (Ibiza) and or the 2023 Australian Age Group Long Distance Duathlon Team Selection Policy (Zofingen). The 2023 Australian Age Group Triathlon and Multisport Team Selection Policies detail the process and criteria by which Triathlon Australia will select its 2023 Australian Age Group Triathlon and Multisport Teams. Sprint Distance Duathlon (Draft Legal) - 4.7km Run, 18.4km Cycle (Draft Legal), 2.8km Run - Saturday 29th April 2023
Standard Distance Duathlon - 10km Run, 39.6km Cycle, 5km Run - Sunday 30th April 2023
Aquathlon - 1km Swim, 5km Run - Monday 1st of May 2023
Cross Triathlon - 1km Swim, 20.2km Mountain Bike Ride, 6km Trail Run - Friday 5th of May 2023
Aquabike - 3km Swim, 119km Cycle - Sunday 7th May 2023
Long Distance Triathlon - 3km Swim, 119 Cycle, 29.5km Run - Sunday 7th May 2023
Age group athletes are unable to compete in the Aquabike and Long Distance Triathlon events at the 2023 World Triathlon Age Group Multisport World Championships as these age group events will be held on the same day at the same time in Ibiza, Spain.
2023 Australian Age Group Multisport Team Expression of Interest: 2023 Australian Age Group Multisport Team Expression of Interest closed at 5pm AEDT on Monday the 30th of January 2023. Please note no further expressions will be accepted for the 2023 Australian Age Group Multisport Team.

Sprint Distance Triathlon (Draft Legal) - 750m Swim, 20km Cycle (Draft Legal), 5km Run - Friday 14th of July 2023
Age Group Mixed Team Relay (Draft Legal) - 300m Swim, 5km Cycle (Draft Legal), 1.5km Run. Each athlete will complete all 3 legs before handing over to the next team member. - Sunday 16th of July 2023.
2023 World Triathlon Age Group Standard Distance Triathlon, Standard Distance Aquabike and Super Sprint Triathlon World Championships - Pontevedra, Spain

Super Sprint Triathlon (Non-Draft Legal) - Distance to be confirmed by World Triathlon approximately 250m to 500m Swim, 6.5km to 13km Cycle, 1.7km to 3.5km Run. This event will be run in a time trial format. - Friday 22nd of September 2023.
Standard Distance Triathlon (Non-Draft Legal) - 1.5km Swim, 40km Cycle, 10km Run - Sunday 24th of September 2023
Standard Distance Aquabike (Non-Draft Legal) - 1.5km Swim, 40km Cycle - Sunday 24th of September 2023.
