2025 Australian Age Group Triathlon and Multisport Team

As a Triathlon Australia member, you can wear the Green and Gold as part of the 2025 Australian Age Group Team at the World Triathlon Age Group World Championships.
World Triathlon is the international governing body for the Olympic sport of triathlon and all related multisport disciplines around the world, including duathlon, aquathlon, cross triathlon and winter triathlon. It is the recognised International Federation for the sport of Triathlon (by the International Olympic Committee) and of Paratriathlon (by the International Paralympic Committee). Each season World Triathlon host a number of Age Group World Championships that you can qualify for in Australia. Here's where you can join us in 2025 on Team Australia!

Sprint Distance Duathlon (Draft Legal) - 5km Run, 20km Cycle (Draft Legal), 2.5km Run - Time trial bikes are not allowed during this event.
Standard Distance Duathlon - 10km Run, 40km Cycle (Non-Draft Legal), 5km Run
Cross Triathlon - 1.5km Swim, 30km Mountain Bike Ride, 8km Trail Run
Cross Duathlon - 8km Trail Run, 25km Mountain Bike Ride, 4km Trail Run
Aquathlon - 1km Swim, 5km Run
Aquabike - 3km Swim, 120km Cycle (Non-Draft Legal)
Long Distance Triathlon - 3km to 4km Swim, 120 Cycle (Non-Draft Legal), 30km Run

# Athletes can seek selection in more than one event at the 2025 World Triathlon Age Group Multisport World Championships. Athletes are unable to apply for both the Age Group Aquabike event and the Age Group Long Distance Triathlon event as these events occur on the same day and the same time.

2025 World Triathlon Age Group Triathlon World Championships Individual Events:
Sprint Distance Triathlon (Draft Legal) - 750m Swim, 20km Cycle (Draft Legal), 5km Run - Time trial bikes are not allowed during this event.
Mixed Team Relay (Draft Legal) - 300m Swim, 5km to 8km Cycle (Draft Legal), 1.5km to 2km Run. Each athlete will complete all 3 legs before handing over to the next team member. - Time trial bikes are not allowed during this event.
Standard Distance Triathlon (Non-Draft Legal) - 1.5km Swim, 40km Cycle (Non-Draft Legal), 10km Run
