Add Ons

Supporting on the starting line, coaching in the community or chasing podiums?

In addition to core membership, if you are a coach, technical official or professional athlete, you can include additional packages with your membership by choosing from the following Add Ons. You can choose multiple Add On packages, to reflect your level of involvement in triathlon.

Professional Coach 
For Triathlon Australia accredited coaches, 18 years and older (as of 31 Dec 2022), who coach in a professional capacity (any coaching other than volunteer).

• Coaching insurance cover (Professional Indemnity Insurance and Coach Public Liability)* 
• Acknowledgment of official coach accreditation 
• Access to professional development opportunities
• Listing on Triathlon Australia coach network 

Coaches need to have Standard core membership or higher to be eligible for this Add On.

Volunteer Coach 
For Triathlon Australia accredited coaches, 16 years and older (as of 31 Dec 2022), who only coach as a volunteer in a Triathlon Australia affiliated club environment. 

• Coaching insurance cover (Professional Indemnity Insurance and Coach Public Liability)* 
• Acknowledgment of official coach accreditation 
• Access to professional development opportunities

Must have a core membership and be a club member for this Add On.

Technical Official 
For volunteers, 18 years and older (as of 31 Dec 2022) who hold a Triathlon Australia Technical Official accreditation. Technical Official package will provide insurance coverage for officiating at sanctioned events*. 

Professional Athlete 
For elite athletes, 16 years and older (as of 31 Dec 2022), who compete in Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquathlon, Cross Triathlon or Multisport events with overall prize money (male & female combined) in excess of AUD $10,000. 

» International Travel Insurance (including racing and training) 
» Earn prize money above AUD$10,000 
» Access to elite categories at events

Athletes will also need to hold a Standard or Premium core membership and Professional Licence.

For elite athletes, 15–22 years (as of 31 Dec 2022), who compete in World Triathlon races up to Continental Cup & Continental Championship level as well as any other Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquathlon, Cross Triathlon or multisport event with prize money (male & female combined) up to but no greater than AUD $10,000. 

» International Travel Insurance (including racing and training) 
» Earn prize money

Athletes will also need to hold a Standard or Premium core membership, Professional Licence and Draft Legal endorsement.

Prices include GST and system fee.
