Coaching & Professional

c&p banner

Coaching is a rich and rewarding experience helping others develop and achieve their personal triathlon challenges.

Quality coaches have a huge impact on our triathlon communities. They spend time with triathletes, young and old, and have a positive influence on the life and values of those they come into contact with. The role of the coach is fundamental to the success of all triathletes at every level.

Through our coaching memberships, Triathlon Australia is able to offer a range of accreditations and professional development opportunities to support our coaching network, as well as all of the benefits of Annual Membership.

The range of coaches in Australia varies, from those who are focused on entry-level participation and community clubs, to those who are highly qualified working with high performance athletes. Some of these high performance athletes include professional licence holders. Professional licence holders are triathletes who are competing in ITU racing or for prize money. These athletes are required to hold specific Triathlon Australia memberships in order to compete. For more for information on becoming a professional licence holder, click here.
