Triathlon ACT has partnered with Noah's Ark to deliver a Triathlon Meaningful Inclusion Workshop on Saturday 15th June 2019, 9-12.30pm. (Venue to be confirmed)
Coaches are increasingly working with people with additional needs, including those with Autism, in their programs, but many people in this group have unique needs and require us to work differently.
This interactive seminar is aimed at supporting coaches to explore some of the key features of a range of common disabilities, including Autism, the implications for the program and strategies that may assist in the meaningful inclusion of all people.
- Participants will reflect on challenges they may have faced including people with additional needs
- Participants will explore tools and strategies for including children with Autism successfully into their program
- Participants will gain skills to adapt their program to include a wide range of people
- Participants will learn some basic communication strategies to include all people.
