"TRI" reasons to become a member of TACT

Here are the main reasons why you should become a member of Triathlon ACT:

1. Insurance

When you join TACT, you are provided with insurance that covers you not only during competition but also during training. It means that you are covered each time you go for a training swim, a ride or a run regardless of whether you are part of a Triathlon Club or not. Our insurance covers both the elite athlete and the casual participant. For more information regarding our insurance please go to 'insurance' on the TA website.

2. Support the organisation

By becoming a TACT member, you support TACT and the sport of triathlon in the ACT. TACT is working hard to provide various services to the community. Here are some of the main services we provide:

• Organisation of events: Did you know that TACT is the only State/Territory triathlon organisation in Australia that runs almost all its own events? TACT has for many years assumed the responsibilities of providing quality events to its members.
• Junior Development: TACT puts money towards the development of our junior triathletes by organising camps and training programs.
• Coaches and Officials: TACT supports, educates and trains coaches and officials in the ACT.

The reduced entry fee for TACT members for all TACT events is just one of the numerous advantages of being part of the TACT community.
