12 Burning Questions from Club Championships Divisions

 

Last week, the divisions for the 2018 NSW Club Championships were announced with each division again set to be hotly contested affairs with club pride on the line.

This of course led to several burning questions arising for each of the three divisions.

Division 1 Questions

Will Warringah reclaim the title after narrowly losing out to Hills last season, or are we watching the beginning of a dynasty?

With a history of World Class athletes, is this the year that Cronulla roll the back the years and regain their stronghold on Club Champs?

Armed with good numbers and top athletes, can Balmoral under new leadership claim the big one this year?

The momentum at Balance & UTS has been building season after season, is this their big break?

Division 2 Questions

Orange will look to repeat last year’s success but with Mudgee in their division and on the rise, who will be the pride of the Central West come the night of the 24th March?

Coogee and BRAT’s once again do battle for the bragging rights of the Eastern Beaches, but both must look over their shoulder with STG on the rise and stepping up a division, who will return to Sydney’s East victorious?

Two big clubs to the South of Sydney have other ideas, will Illawarra or Macarthur bring the numbers they need and perform strongly on the day to take out the division?

Maitland, Newcastle and Tomaree, who will return to the Hunter triumphant?

Division 3 Questions

Australian Chinese Triathlon, a rookie club but growing fast, will they have debut success?

With the event on their doorstep, can Bathurst make the short trip to keep the silverware in the Central West?

News out of Kiama is that they mean business this year, will they take out Division 3?

In the largest division, will it be tight or can one club stand out from the crowd?
