The Balmoral Triathlon Club has launched their annual TRYstars program for the 2016-17 season, however this year’s program has been enhanced with a new and exciting extension.
TRYstars is Triathlon Australia’s national “first touch” junior participation program that encourages kids aged 7-12 to get involved in Triathlon all around Australia. The TRYstars program is an incredibly important tool in introducing the sport of triathlon to the junior demographic.
In addition to the normal TRYstars program, this year Balmoral Triathlon Club is offering TRYstars 2.0; a program which will build on the first touch skills developed in the previous TRYstars program.
Both of the programs consists of 10 x 1 hour sessions held at Balmoral Beach on Friday evenings starting on November 18, 2016.
“It is the best way for kids to get involved in triathlon and have as much fun as their parents,” Balmoral Triathlon Club President Murray Robertson said.
“We have great coaches led by Lew Hartley and Emily McPhee who will oversee the programs and ensure that your kids have fun and learn new skills in a safe environment.
“All participants will also receive a pack of goodies including rash vest, towel and drink bottle.
“The program leads up to the Balmoral Triathlon Club TRYstars Race and the BTC Youth Race where they can put all their training into practice.”
