Concord Tribute Ride raises over $1,000 for #TriBucketList campaign

Concord Triathlon Club have made a tremendous contribution to the#TriBucketList campaign by raising over one thousand dollars in their Concord Tribute Ride which took place on Sunday the 29th of January.

The Concord Tribute Ride saw club members ride from Bundenna to Scarborough Beach and raised a total of $1,355.50.

The #TriBucketList campaign is derived from the partnership between beyondblue and Triathlon NSW and allows for ANYONE to raise money for beyondblue at ANY of TNSW’s sanctioned events.

#TriBucketList is an exciting new way to not only encourage individuals to increase their regular physical activity participation to improve their physical and mental health, but to also fundraise for beyondblue. Anyone can do it; newcomers to the sport or seasoned triathletes.

“Concord Triathlon Club created this page because we want to make a difference,” said Club Captain Richard Bull. “We're inspired by the work of beyondblue and wanted to support them by raising money during our annual 'Tribute Ride'.”

Through the fantastic work of the Concord Triathlon Club and individuals such as Rodney Cook, Triathlon NSW has raised close to $4,000 for beyondblue.

“Concord Triathlon Club are to be commended on their efforts in making a considerable contribution to the #TriBucketList campaign,” said Triathlon NSW Sport Development and Community Programs Manager, Chris Cunningham. “Their efforts serve as a wonderful example to the other clubs in the state of what can be achieved.”
