The Triathlon NSW Club Champs in Forster calls as your next spectacular ‘Tri-Cation’ destination this year!

Between Elite Energy’s Husky Triathlon Festival, NX Sports Tweed Enduro and H Events Stockton Island Triathlon, over 9,000 triathletes have been reminded through February how amazing is it to get away with friends, family and club mates to experience a ‘Tri-Cation’.

They’ve experienced spectacular locations, wonderful company and comradery of their team mates. Memories have been formed and friendships solidified.

And if you are anything like us here at Triathlon NSW, you are sitting at home and dreaming of running down that finish chute; those finish line feels that only triathlon can offer.

Knowing you’ve left everything out on course and you’ve got nothing left to give; competing against your personal best, the clock or others in your age group.

You crave crystal clear waters and a few cold beverages with club mates to celebrate shared success of completing goal events.

So you ask yourself the question, what’s my next ‘Tri-Cation’??

The good news, we’ve got the answer!

It’s only 11 weeks till the 2023 Triathlon NSW Club Championships, scheduled for Saturday 27th May in Forster NSW.

There is already a whopping 300+ entries and 32 clubs have confirmed their attendance.

For those that have been to Forster for a TNSW Club Championships, you’d be aware that there is something special about being in the location of the birth of long course triathlon in Australia. There is something special about an event which brings together the clubs and TNSW membership like no other event can or could ever.

You’d know about the crystal clear water of Forster Main Beach, the iconic run across the bridge and the after party, all of which is the stuff of legends.

This event will feature everything you love about a race weekend getaway, but a little less of those hills on the cycle course that were so polarising previously for our athletes.

Registrations are already looking strong, with over 300 entered. We look forward to welcoming members from our new clubs: Moore Performance TC, Yass Valley TC, Manly Vipers TC and our newest club, the Sydney South West Golden Eagles, still taking baby steps as a club with their first foundation members.

It’s the usual suspects who have made their intentions clear with big numbers already locked in to take to the start line, including Warringah Triathlon club, Balmoral TC and Cronulla TC, all having a strong start to entries. But it’s a few dark horses that are surprising with Forster TC, Port Macquarie TC and NSTC all coming in big numbers already and showing their intentions to be competitive in their various divisions.

By all reports, Balance and Coogee look to resume their competition on the dance floor at the after party presentations, to decide the unofficial winner of the ‘best dance triathlon club’.

Either way and irrespective of the outcome, this event is set to be huge, and you don’t want to miss it!
