NSW Club Championships Improvements

With the season well and truly underway, we have some exciting updates to share about the 2018 Triathlon NSW Club Championships event. The annual race will be returning to Orange for the second year running, with the Club and Junior events set to be held on Saturday the 24th of March 2018.

We listened to the feedback you provided us with earlier this year, and from that we have provisioned some exciting changes to enhance the racing in 2018.

At the swim there has been a widening of the beach with more room for entry and exit. There will be plenty of onshore siting flags and heaps of room to exit and head to transition for the bike leg.

On to the bike and we have designed a totally revamped course. The new course route is easy to follow, with bigger, wider and smoother road surfaces. An excellent 30km loop that takes in the stunning countryside with some speed and undulation to inspire, test & exhilarate.

The run course now removes the cross-country section which had a bit of loose gravel. With the multi-lap course still featuring the run past “Club Tent” alley you can cheer on club mates and get that all important lift as you race for those treasured points.

For the presentation and after party, we are bringing back the band on stage to the centrally located Orange Ex-Serviceman’s Club.

The one thing that won’t be changing is the fantastic town we are lucky enough to visit for this event! As always, the wineries and cafes that make Orange so great will be on show, so make sure you get the most out of your trip by visiting the local establishments.

Early Bird prices close on the 15th of December, register here now to take advantage and save on standard pricing.
