Running over a dozen events in NSW each year, Elite Energy have become synonymous with triathlon in NSW since their inception in 1999

“Elite Energy’s vigour and passion for the growth of triathlon throughout NSW is evident in all of their operations. We are extremely excited about the prospect of future Club Champs with Elite Energy as the event deliverer. Their loyal following in the broader community and intimate understanding of the triathletes, plus their thirst for innovation made their Expression of Interest highly appealing ‘ Adam Wicks, CEO Triathlon NSW.

In its third instalment, Orange, NSW will again play host to Triathlon NSW’s flagship event with the event confirmed to be held on Saturday 16th March 2019. It has been a happy hunting ground for Hills and Orange with back to back division titles for both. Whether they will be able to complete a hattrick of titles remains to be seen as numerous clubs have already stated their intentions to end their supremacy next year.

Mark ‘Emo’ Emerton, CEO of Elite Energy stated ‘Being personally and professional involved in the sport of triathlon for over 30 years, there are some events that hold a special place in the communities hearts. The NSW Clubs Champs has always been a style of event that not only is great for good old fashion competition but also brings clubs and members together like no other event in Australia. That’s why we are fully committed and excited to work closely with Triathlon NSW, Orange Triathlon Club and Orange City Council to build on the great work that has happened at Orange in the last 2 years, with exciting new ideas and concepts’.

Elite Energy is eager to implement new exciting changes and additions to make the NSW Club Championships bigger and more inclusive with opportunities for all members of clubs far and beyond to be a part of this historic event.

This year’s event once again showcased how integral clubs are to the sustainable growth of our sport. The support networks and encouragement they provide are first class and improve year on year. The second ever junior Club Champs further added to the diversity of the event and displays the exciting next generation of NSW triathletes.

Triathlon NSW would like to thank 100% Events for their impeccable delivery of recent Club Champs and ongoing support for the sport of Triathlon in NSW.
