Palladium Property extends commitment to TNSW/TACT Development Pathway

Triathlon NSW and Triathlon ACT are excited to announce a continuation of the partnership with Palladium Property. This will be the third season in a row that TNSW & TACT have worked closely with Phillip Hoare and his team at Palladium Property. We extend our sincere thanks to them for their ongoing support and commitment to the sport of triathlon – it is vital and greatly appreciated.

This partnership allows continued investment into the future of the aligned Triathlon NSW / Triathlon ACT pathway and our athletes as they strive for Olympic, Commonwealth and World Championship gold in the Mixed Relay (MR) format of the sport.

For those who have been involved with the Development Program for the last few seasons, we look forward to welcoming some changes (and additions) that have been made possible with the latest partnership extension.

While Palladium Property will remain the naming rights partner across the No.1 TNSW / TACT Youth / Junior / U23 Elite Mixed Team Relay Teams, we are proud to include the ‘Palladium Property Performance Mixed Relay Team’.

The Palladium Property Performance MRT will be selected at the 2022 TNSW / TACT Super Sprint Race Weekend, hosted by Orange Triathlon Club. This selection will occur in line with a Selection Policy that is yet to be released.

Each athlete selected on to the team will receive financial backing to support their career and they will be profiled across both TNSW / TACT outlets, assisting with their public profile in the triathlon community and beyond. In addition to this, selected athletes will also receive Scody apparel (following the announcement of a recent one year deal).

The No 1. Team to race at Australian Junior, Youth and U23 Championships Races will be selected via a separate policy but continuing from previous years, the team will be called the Palladium Property TNSW/TACT No.1 U23/Junior/Youth Mixed Relay Teams.

Both TNSW and TACT take pride in the ability to constantly evolve and refine our program to ensure both sponsors and athletes are achieving optimum outcomes. It is our goal to support pathway athletes to their goals of representing Australia in Paris 2024, Los Angles 2028 & Brisbane 2032 – setting the benchmark for other STTA’s to aspire to.

These changes are vital to ensure there is a continued investment into development pathways and the Mixed Relay concept, but also ensure we can select teams if (and when) circumstances change – with the last few years showing us that being flexible, is critical for success.

Palladium Property Managing Director, Phillip Hoare is a passionate short-course triathlete and was excited to once again align his company with Triathlon NSW and Triathlon ACT.

“It is very encouraging to hear the excitement that the Tokyo Olympic & Birmingham Commonwealth Games Triathlon Mixed Team Relay races created within the Australian public. The fast and furious format in true team spirit (where the lead changes constantly) seems to be the future of triathlon racing, and appeals to the younger generation,” Phillip said.

“Palladium Property is proud to play a minor part in the development of juniors and U23 elites with a focus on these events”.

TNSW CEO Adam Wicks says he's thrilled for the partnership extension with Phillip and the team at Palladium Property, and is looking forward to the addition of the Palladium Property Performance Mixed Relay Team.

"I am thrilled at our continued partnership with Palladium Property. Recent successes of pathway athletes internationally highlights the importance of the pathway programs. Local businesses of this nature providing support to us in turn allows us to invest into the future champions of the sport".

TACT Executive Officer Steve Bingley said he's thankful for the support from Palladium Property - a partnership that will see benefits well beyond the pathway.

We are incredibly grateful to have a successful and reputable organisation like Palladium Property on board to support and grow our pathways programs, that will see benefits extend well throughout the local sporting community”.
