Triathlon Australia and Triathlon NSW extends its deepest sympathies to the family of Soolan Clifford who passed away following a cycling accident.

 

Triathlon Australia and Triathlon NSW wish to extend its deepest sympathies to the family of Soolan Clifford who passed away on Saturday 17thAugust following a cycling accident. 

Mrs Clifford was on a training ride with her husband when she was struck by a utility riding along  Spring Creek Road near Gulgong.

The family are members of the Mudgee Triathlon Club and New South Wales Executive director Adam Wicks said he was shocked and saddened. 

“Any incident on the roads is tragic, but when it’s one of our own, we feel the pain even deeper. On behalf of the Triathlon NSW Board, we wish to share our deepest condolences with the family and friends and our heart is breaking with the community of Mudgee and all clubs in the Central West” said Adam Wicks, Executive Director of Triathlon NSW. 

Triathlon NSW has reached out the club and advised of our commitment to supporting the family in any capacity we are able through this difficult of time.
