Triathlon NSW 2017 Annual General Meeting Wrap Up

The Triathlon NSW Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday 22nd November 2017 via teleconference.

Running as per the agenda circulated, the President’s Report, Executive Director’s report and Financial Report were all delivered and accepted.

The 2016-17 Annual Report is available to everyone online and we encourage you all to take some time to read the reports – CLICK HERE TO READ. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Triathlon NSW Board, staff and the incredible volunteers who are so important to the delivery of our club network.

Of particular note was a fond thank you delivered by Lucy Burgmann (Triathlon NSW President) on behalf of the community to outgoing CEO, Phil Dally after nearly 6 years of service, along with Triathlon NSW Board members Jo Magill and Natalie Edwards. Neither renominated for their position, but their contribution was immense and wish them all the best, especially Natalie Edwards as she joins the Triathlon Australia board. Thanks is also extended to Ben Houston (Triathlon Australia President) for taking time from his busy schedule to provide an update from the national perspective.

Finally, to the elections. We extend a warm welcome back to re-elected Triathlon NSW Board member Michael Gleeson (Balmoral Triathlon Club). And we welcome Steven Newman (Illawarra Triathlon Club) and Scott King (Maitland Triathlon Club) to the Triathlon NSW Board, after being successfully elected by the voting delegates.

Lastly, thank you to those clubs who registered and dialled into the AGM and to all of our members for your ongoing efforts, passion and professionalism in supporting and growing our great sport in New South Wales.

The future looks strong for the sport of Triathlon in NSW!
