Further race information will be provided in due course.

Super Sprint Race Weekend entries are not open to the general public. Entries are facilitated through the State programs similar to last year.

About the 2019 Australian Youth | Junior | U23 Triathlon Series


2017 Aust Junior Tri Series Logo

The 2019 Australian Youth I Junior I U23 Triathlon Series is the key national racing development opportunity in Triathlon Australia’s talent pathway for Youth, Junior & U23 athletes aged 13-23 years. The series is designed to challenge and enhance Australia’s most talented developing triathletes by competing against their peers and earning series points to determine the Australian Series Point Score Champions.

The Greater Springfield Duathlon is a Qualifying Race for the 2017 Worlds in Penticton, Canada – FIRST INTERNATIONAL ITU MULTISPORT WORLD CHAMPS - Aquathlon, Duathlon, Long Course and Cross Tri.

Please note as a 17 year old athlete, if you wish to qualify for the Australian World Championships team (full distance category) you may compete in the full distance race but will be ineligible to accrue State Championship points.  This is due to a change in State Championship categories to stay in line with ITU Guidelines.
