This coming summer’s Kingston SE Triathlon marks 30 years since its inception. Beginning as a single-race event by a small, but keen group in 1988, the Kingston SE Triathlon has developed into an event which engages the whole Kingston community. It’s previously been an ITU World Championships qualifying event, and was the SA Olympic Distance Championship from 2007 to 2014, a testament to the quality of the event.
To celebrate 30 years of Triathlon, Kingston will proudly host the 2018 Triathlon SA Club Championships. In addition, the 2018 event will also attract double points in the Triathlon South Australia State Series.
Kingston SE triathlon Club President Ali Stillwell said “our committee is really excited about this year’s event. We’re just so proud that after 30 years we’re still getting bigger and better. We can’t wait to see everyone in February”.
