Triathlon Victoria run a number of TRIactive & Coach Training Programs throughout the year. We also run Professional Development workshops for coaches and athletes.
NEXT Coaching Course - Foundation Coach Training Program
Date: 3rd & 4th November 2018 - Registrations are open
The Foundation Coach accreditation will allow coaches to prepare for, deliver and review pre-designed triathlon coaching sessions for participation focused triathletes in a range of controlled environments.
The Foundation Coach Training Program content includes:
- Strategies for creating and maintaining a safe coaching environment.
- Preparing for, delivering and reviewing triathlon sessions.
- Developing fundamental coaching and technical skills.
Coaches will have access to an online Knowledge Hub resource, which details the principles of effective coaching and the Foundation level skills of triathlon across swim, cycle, run and transitions.

TRIactive Coach Training Program
VENUE: Melbourne Sports and Aquatics Centre (MSAC)
TIME: 8:45am to 4:30pm.
All the program information you require is contained in the link here.
TRIactive is a fully resourced program that has been designed, piloted and developed by Triathlon Victoria to get beginner triathletes across the finish line in their first triathlon.
There is currently no fee to attend this coaching course and upon completion you will be able to deliver the TRIactive program and be provided with a nationally-endorsed Triathlon Australia Accreditation to do so.
For insurance purposes, please note that all attendees MUST be a Triathlon Australia member PRIOR to attending the program.
The program is limited to a maximum of 12 registrations.
