Triathlon Victoria is delighted to announce the 2016-17 Victorian Triathlon State Series events.
“Following the success of the 2015-16 series where we announced 24 state series champions and awarded champion club status to both Bayside Triathlon Club and Geelong Performance Coaching Triathlon Victoria looks forward to continued participation growth in the series” said Grant Cosgriff Executive Director. “The series is designed to encourage and reward both our affiliated clubs and individual members to race more often and across the variety of multisport disciplines and triathlon distances. In 2015-16 the series saw over 2200 member’s race in one or more of the state series events and we have an ambitious target to increase this to over 2500 this year.
The series announcement coincides with the renewal of Swift Carbon as a major supporter of the series. Swift will once again provide two bikes in the major prize draw (one male and one female winner) eligible for members who race in the series. “Every time you race in a state series event you receive a free entry into the major prize draw and could be riding home on a new Swift G2 Attack valued at over $3500 just like Justin Weeks (Echuca Triathlon Club) and Cassie Donald (CF Racing). We offer a year round 15% off to Triathlon Victoria members and specialise in outstanding service and bike fitting for all types of riders” said Jonathan Cantwell of Swift Carbon.
