Congratulations to the Triathlon Victoria members who recently competed in the World Championships in Chicago. Victoria was well represented with athletes competing in the Age Group Aquathlon, Sprint Distance and Standard Distance Triathlon World Championships, as well as the Paratriathlon World Championships. Congratulations to all athlete's, what a fantastic achievement! The Australian team ended up 2nd on the medal tally behind the USA. USA had 106 medals, AUS 22 medals, Great Britain 21 medals. The two Victorian members who are part of the Cross Triathlon Australian Age Group Team will compete at Sardegna, Italy this weekend in the ITU Cross Triathlon Championships. Our members who are part of the Australian Age Group Duathlon Team will compete at the ITU Duathlon World Championships in Adelaide on 17 and 18 October.
