Hall of Fame
The Triathlon Australia Hall of Fame was established in 2009 to honour those athletes who have made a significant contribution to the sport of Triathlon in Australia. To date, the following individuals have been inducted into the Hall of Fame
Greg Welch (2009)
Michellie Jones (2009)
Miles Stewart (2009)
Greg Welch has also become the first Australian triathlete to be inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame.
Athlete Awards
Each year, Triathlon Australia recognised the outstanding performances of its elite athletes through the presentation of the Athlete of the Year Awards.
The awards include:
Individual Performance of the Year, Male and Female
Voted for by the coaching leadership group, selected media journalists, the CEO and President of TA, this awards will highlight the most outstanding male and female performances from an Australian athlete over the ITU Triathlon season.
2010 Winners: Chris McCormack and Emma Moffatt and Emma Snowsill

Chris Hewitt Emerging Athlete award
The award is presented in memory of Triathlon Australia's ex-President and Board Member Chris Hewitt, who tragically passed away in 2005. Many talented and amazing athletes have received this award in the past. This award is voted for by the coaching leadership group, selected media journalists, the CEO and President of TA.

2007 Winner: Brendan Sexton
2006 Winner: Erin Densham
Athletes Athlete of the Year Award
Voted for by all athletes with a professional licence, this award honours the most outstanding performance over the season by an athlete, in the eyes of their peers.
2010 Winner: Mirinda Carfrae
2009 Winner: Craig Alexander
2008 Winner: Emma Snowsill
The 2011 Athlete of the Year Awards will be presented at the 2012 Triathlon Australia Annual Awards night.
