Coach Appreciation Week 2020: Wrap Up

Coach Appreciation Week 2020: Wrap Up

And that's a wrap for Coach Appreciation Week 2020!

Last week saw the triathlon community take some time out of the chaos to say thanks.

Athletes and clubs jumped at the chance to celebrate the accredited community and elite coaches in our midst, with an outpouring of gratitude filling our social channels.

Lets take a look and see how some showed their appreciation:

Perth Triathlon Club Coaches thanked for their guidance through the maze that is triathlon and the awesome introduction to the sport.

Coach and Athlete dynamics showcased by Adam White.

Tri3Coaching showing Megan Hall some love.

Head Coach at Sunshine Coast Triathlon Academy, Toby Coote given some praise.

It was great to receive some good news that @sunshinecoasttriathlonacademy / @protector_aluminium Head Coach @tobycoote had notification that he had been nominated for Age Group Coach of the Year at the annual @triaustralia Awards night. Toby was selected as the Queensland nomination from @triathlonqueensland . It is very humbling as this is the 3rd time in 7 years that Toby has been nominated. The Awards Nights was to be held on Sunday 5th April but with the current climate of events has been postponed to a later date. It is great recognition of the service Toby delivers to his athletes and to the SCTA and Triathlon Community. Great timing as well as this week is TA’s Coach Appreciation Week 📸 @lbmedia__ #scta #ThanksCoachTA #lookafteryourcoach #triathlon #coaching. @protector_aluminium @vorgee @unique_health_products Products #CLIFbaraus @mizunorunningaus #mizunoaus @felt_oz #feltbicycles Allez Sport Mooloolaba @cannibalaustralia @intunesports @titanperformancegroup | @zone3australia @nutritionloveyaguts @rydgeshotels @kawana.aquatic.centre | @rackley_swimming @daoptometrists @qldtriseries | @_theeventcrew_ @recovery__room @prepdhydration

Coach appreciation week! At times like these you really need a coach that supports and guides you as a person and an athlete, and I can assure you I have this person! @janinekaye I would like to thank you for always believing in me and my journey though triathlon, it really makes a difference! I don’t know where I would be without you! Thank you for always knowing what to say when things don’t go right and you always give me hope to be able to achieve my dreams. Thank you for everything you every do for me and I can’t wait to see what the future holds whilst on my journey though triathlon! Once again thank you for being the best coach ever! You really are the best out there! ❤️❤️ #thankscoachta #thankscoachwa

Hollie giving some love, time and appreciation back to her coach, Des Gooda.

Sadly, we couldn't share all of the love and support in this one wrap up, so if you would like to see more - check out the #ThanksCoachTA hashtag on Instagram.

Just because Coach Appreciation Week has come to a close for 2020, doesn't mean that you can't keep using the #ThanksCoachTA hashtag. So keep posting and tagging and we can keep the good energy high.

Regardless of your ability, skill level, club or whether you are competing or training, always remember to thank your coaches.
