2021 Australian Age Group Triathlon Team - Edmonton and Bermuda

Name Change International Triathlon Union 6th October 2020: The International Triathlon Union has rebranded and will now be referred to as World Triathlon moving forward.

Important Changes to the World Triathlon Age Group Triathlon World Championships:

World Triathlon has dramatically restructured the 2021 World Triathlon Age Group Triathlon World Championships. In 2021 World Triathlon has split the sprint distance triathlon (draft legal) age group world championships and the standard distance triathlon age group world championships. The 2021 World Triathlon Age Group Triathlon World Championships will now encompass five individual age group triathlon world championship events across two separate venues at different times of the year:

Event One: 2021 World Triathlon Age Group Standard Distance Triathlon, Age Group Super Sprint Triathlon and Age Group Standard Distance Aquabike World Championships Location: Edmonton, Canada – 17th to the 22nd of August 2021.

Event Two: 2021 World Triathlon Age Group Sprint Distance Triathlon (Draft Legal) and Age Group Mixed Team Relay World Championships Location: Hamilton, Bermuda – 15th to the 17th of October 2021.

The Australian Government has a current ban on international travel for all Australian citizens and this ban may be in place for some time.
