Why does Triathlon Australia publish a preliminary team and then a final team?
Once Triathlon Australia announces the 2023 Australian Age Group Triathlon, Multisport and Long Distance Triathlon Preliminary Team an Eligible Athlete who fails to be selected for the 2023 Australian Age Group Triathlon, Multisport and or Long Distance Duathlon Team pursuant to the process and criteria set out in the relevant Selection Policy may appeal against omission from the 2023 Australian Age Group Triathlon, Multisport and or Long Distance Duathlon Team as set out in the 2023 Australian Age Group Triathlon Team Appeal Policy and or the 2023 Australian Age Group Multisport Team Appeal Policy and or the 2023 Australian Age Group Long Distance Duathlon Team Appeal Policy.
Will Triathlon Australia notify me of my preliminary and or final 2023 Australian Age Group Team selection?
Triathlon Australia will individually email all Triathlon Australia members who have correctly expressed interest online through the Triathlon Australia website for the 2023 Australian Age Group Triathlon, Multisport Team and or Long Distance Duathlon Team at this time to outline the preliminary and final team selections. It is critical that 2023 Australian Age Group Triathlon, Multisport and Long Distance Duathlon Team applicants ensure the email which you use to express interest online through the Triathlon Australia website for the 2023 Australian Age Group Triathlon, Multisport Team and Long Distance Duathlon Team is kept up to date and in working order throughout the entire selection period.
