There is a strong friendly, social side to the sport with affiliated Triathlon clubs offering a range of training sessions each week catering for all levels of fitness. The clubs run sessions that also offer a very supportive environment for those new to the sport, with plenty of experienced triathletes and qualified coaches willing to provide advice. WHAT IS THE NOVICE PROGRAM?
We have three fantastic clubs in the ACT that provide 8-12 week Novice Triathlon programs from September to December each year. They all cater for people, like you, who wish to get a start in the sport of triathlon. The programs involve a series of specific sessions focused on skills, fitness and other helpful hints, for those new to the sport. The programs culminate in participants competing in the ACT Triathlon Novice series.
Please note that there will be limited spaces in the Novice programs, so get in quick, and register, to avoid disappointment.
