Join all our, Rookie, Youth and Junior/u23 athletes from across the state as they compete an action-packed weekend of racing.

This year's edition will see the addition of a Minor and Mini Aquathlon event, Great for getting ready for State Schools and also a great introduction to our sport.

Age categories:
Junior/U23 (2007-2000) 15-22yrs old
Youth (2008-2009) 13-14yr old
Rookie (2010-2011) 11-12yr old
Minor (2012-2014) 7-10yr old
Mini (2015-2016) 5-6yr old

Triathlon Australia Age Group ITU World Championship Qualifying Race

The Greater Springfield Duathlon is a Qualifying Race for the 2017 Worlds in Penticton, Canada – FIRST INTERNATIONAL ITU MULTISPORT WORLD CHAMPS - Aquathlon, Duathlon, Long Course and Cross Tri.

Please note as a 17 year old athlete, if you wish to qualify for the Australian World Championships team (full distance category) you may compete in the full distance race but will be ineligible to accrue State Championship points. This is due to a change in State Championship categories to stay in line with ITU Guidelines.
