Athlete Development Program
Triathlon South Australia is proud to announce the new Triathlon Australia Athlete Development Program. In collaboration with Triathlon South Australia (TriSA), Triathlon Victoria (TriVIC) and Triathlon Tasmania (TriTAS) the program is managed by Triathlon Australia's Michelle Hemley.
Michelle’s role is to work with Coaches, Race Directors, Parents and Athletes across all three states to increase opportunities for youth and junior triathletes to be supported in their home training environments and aligned to the Triathlon Australia High Performance Program.
The program is open to athletes 12 to 22 years old and links talented junior and youth South Australian triathletes to educational opportunities with key staff such as National talent ID Coach Brendan Sexton and National Performance Health Lead Paula Charlton. The program is designed to work as a compliment to the core role played by an athlete’s home-coach. The program includes:
- Triathlon Health Performance Series with Tri Australia’s Paula Charlton
We are pleased to be able to confirm the following dates and times for a Triathlon Australia - Health Performance Series focusing on Triathlon Specific Nutrition and Mental Racing Skills.

The sessions will have a range of pre-work to be completed by the athletes and their coaches in their daily training environment:
- Monday 20th December 2-3pm
- Wednesday 12th Jan 2-3pm
- Wednesday 19th of Jan 2-3pm
