The Shire Run Carnival is a community festival with a carnival atmosphere, catering for recreational walkers/runners through to the elite.The event takes place along the stunning Kurnell Foreshore, with the start/finish area located at Bonna Point Reserve. The course terrain is mainly sealed path with some grass at the start and finish.Choose from 6km, 3km, 1500m Kids Dash, 400m Dash, 100m Bolt and a Schools' Challenge. The top 4 overall male & female place getters in the 6km and 3km events will be invited to run in the Elite Eliminator.The Schools Challenge is open to schools in the Sutherland Shire, St. George and Canterbury-Bankstown geographical areas.This event proudly supports the incredible work of the Love Mercy Foundation.
