AUSTRALIA DAY TRIATHLON

Join hundreds of competitors this Australia Day for a true bucket-list event — the Australia Day Triathlon at Point Walter, proudly run by the Fremantle Triathlon Club.Swim the beautiful Swan River before tackling a long transition run up to the transition area, then take on the iconic bike course along Burke Drive, including the ascents and descents of Point Walter Hill that make this Western Australia's most demanding sprint triathlon. Finish it off with a run along the shore of the river, cheered on by plenty of spectators along the way.Whether you're racing or cheering from the sidelines, it's a spectator-friendly day out for the whole family — with shaded picnic areas, BBQs, a kids' playground, and triathlon gear and merchandise on site. Spend Australia Day by the river, the Aussie way.
