What is Mov3?
Swimming, cycling, and running are the most popular lifestyle activities in Australia and Mov3 brings them together in a fun, inclusive way.
Our program develops fundamental movement skills like running, jumping, catching, and striking, giving kids the confidence to engage in any sport or activity. With flexible, non-competitive programs, Mov3 creates a positive, social environment where every child can grow, learn, and thrive.
Building Skills, Confidence & a Lifelong Love for Sport
The Mov3 program is a fundamental movement program combining many skills associated with the 3 mainstream sports. Coaching guidance is provided to develop the child’s competency in fundamental movements and underpinning physical qualities, such as running and jumping technique, as well as the ability to pass, track, catch, strike and kick a ball. Delivery of the program is consistent with creating a positive developmental experience that encourages effort, persistence, enjoyment, satisfaction, prolonged engagement with sport and critically, enhanced self-confidence within and outside the sporting domain.
Where does it lead to?
What each participant gets out of the program is up to them and their family. Over the course of the 8 week programs provide inclusive opportunities for everyone in the community to learn the skills associated with sports without being competition focused. It also provides the foundation skills for every child engaged in any sport or recreational activity, giving them the confidence to attempt any challenge. In a social fun environment that encourages peer support, leadership and learning about physical literacy.
