NSW Tri Club Championships

Forster on Worimi Country

Saturday 17TH May 2025

The NSW Triathlon Club Championships

The NSW Triathlon Club Championships is  truly unique and special.

Race alongside your club mates, not against them. Earn points for your club, not yourself. And stick around for the biggest ‘End of Season’ party which is legendary in it’s own right.

Held in the idyllic seaside town of Forster Tuncurry, the course is exciting, beautiful and challenging for both beginners and experienced vetrans.

This event remains the only event in Australia where you must be a 2024/2025 season AusTriathlon & NSW Triathlon Standard or Premium Member to secure your spot on the start line.

Club Mixed Team Relay Challenge

The NSW Triathlon Club Mixed Team Relay Challenge is a separate concept to the NSW Triathlon Club Champs, with no points scoring or links to the traditional ‘NSW Triathlon Club Championships’.

It’s an additional and optional event for clubs and their members to enter and enjoy, should they wish.

Each athlete will complete the 200-metre swim, 5km ride, -1.25km run before ‘tagging’ in the next athlete and the ‘timing chip’ will be the team baton that must be attached to the ankle in order to commence the leg.

Club Divisions

All clubs in NSW are broken into five divisions for the purpose of this event. This means clubs are competing in fairer fields against clubs of similiar size.

Volunteer Registration

The success of this wonderful event is dependent on the contribution of dedicated volunteers. Clubs contributing volunteers is an integral part of the event. Not only that, volunteers earn points for their club, so they can be part of the victory!

To register to volunteer: Volunteer Registration Triathlon NSW Club Championships 2025

Clubs are expected to contribute a minimum of 5% of their eligible membership (rounded down to the nearest whole number) using the ‘Membership Total’ as per reports on 10th March 2025

To be eligible to win a division, a club must meet their minimum required volunteer numbers. If a club wins their division, however does not have enough volunteers, they will be relegated into second position.

Each volunteer will earn one (1) point for the club in which they align.

Minimum Volunteer Requirements

To be eligible to be awarded the overall Club Champion or Divisional Champion a Club must provide a minimum number of Volunteers. For this purpose, a technical official is considered to be a volunteer.

Clubs are expected to contribute a minimum of 5% of their eligible membership as at the 4th April 2024 for volunteers to be eligible for a title. If a club has less than the required volunteers and win their division, they will be reduced into second position.
