The Henderson Newcastle Marathon and Half Marathon is open to both serious and recreational runners. Staged from The Station (the old Newcastle Rail Station), the event features a flat, fast and scenic 10.55km loop course. Runners will take in the best of Newcastle’s harbour and beaches, including Honeysuckle Foreshore, Nobbys and Newcastle Beach.Marathon runners complete 4 laps, half marathon runners complete 2 laps.The course is AIMS accredited and suitable for those chasing a PB or simply looking to enjoy Newcastle’s famous coastline on foot.
