Age Group Team Selection Points 

Due to the predicted lower number of athletes seeking selection to the 2026 Australian Age Group Multisport, Triathlon and T100 Triathlon Team AusTriathlon will not be publishing selection points for each 2026 Australian Age Group Multisport/ Triathlon/ T100 Triathlon Team individual selection event. We have found publishing selection points in the past may not show the true selection picture for eligible athletes throughout the season for a particular campaign. An athlete may be sitting on the overall selection points table at 40th position however this athlete is really sitting in 15th as 25 athletes in front of this athlete may not want to be selected for the 2026 Australian Age Group Multisport/ Triathlon/ T100 Triathlon Team.

AusTriathlon will monitor 2026 Australian Age Group Multisport/ Triathlon/ T100 Triathlon Team Applications and will publish any age group category which shows to have more than 20 applicants in any individual event throughout the multisport/ triathlon/ T100 triathlon selection period.

2026 Australian Age Group Triathlon Team (Pontevedra, Spain) Expression of Interest Applications will close at 5pm AEST on Monday the 27th of April 2026.

2026 Australian Age Group T100 Triathlon Team (Lusail, Qatar) Expression of Interest Applications will close at 5pm AEST on Monday the 10th of August 2026.

I have completed in a 2027 Australian Age Group Team National Selection Event but the race result is not showing in my AusTriathlon JustGo membership profile?

AusTriathlon is currently testing and refining the 2027 Australian Age Group Team national selection event data including race times and national selection points in the JustGo membership system. Age group athletes will not see individual 2027 Australian Age Group Team national selection race times/selection points data in the JustGo membership system.

The races which age group athletes may see in the JustGo membership portal for example may be State Series races. The National Australian Age Group Team Manager in 2027 will be collecting 2027 Australian Age Group Team National Selection Event data. If an age group athlete races in a relevant national selection event this data will be sent to the National Australian Age Group Team Manager in order to validate selection to the relevant 2027 Australian Age Group Team. Age group athletes do not need to check if AusTriathlon has received the race data for there individual race throughout the season.

AusTriathlon is excited to launch the 2028 Australian Age Group Multisport and Triathlon Team National Selection Points onto the JustGo membership portal. Age group athletes competing in the 2028 Australian Age Group Multisport and Triathlon Team National Selection Races will have your selection points published in the JustGo membership portal.

2027 Australian Age Group Multisport Team (Edmonton, Canada) Expression of Interest Applications will close at 5pm AEDT on Monday the 15th of February 2027

2027 Australian Age Group Long Distance Duathlon Team (Zofingen, Switzerland) Expression of Interest Applications will close at 5pm AEDT on Monday the 15th of February 2027

2027 Australian Age Group Triathlon Team (Hamburg, Germany) Expression of Interest Applications will close at 5pm AEST on Tuesday the 27th of April 2027

2027 Australian Age Group T100 Triathlon Team (Lusail, Qatar) Expression of Interest Applications will close at 5pm AEST on Monday the 23rd of August 2027
