The 2025/2026 Victorian Regional Series was a strong success, showcasing continued growth, competitive racing and genuine community engagement across the calendar.
The Series kicked off in style with the Victorian Duathlon State Championships, setting the tone for the season ahead. Over the following seven months, the series travelled across regional Victoria, delivering 10 thrilling races and adventure throughout.
From coastal towns to country locations, athletes raced in a huge variety of conditions, including surf beach swims, pool swims, and lake swims. Showcasing the diversity and unique character of racing in regional Victoria. Each event brought its own challenges, but the competitive racing and strong community vibe stayed consistent all season long.

The success of the Series was further supported by funding received through the Victorian State Government’s Strengthening Regional Community Support Program, which played an important role in enabling the delivery and growth of the series across multiple regional locations.
Across the series we achieved approximately 2,000 registrations, reflecting the continued appeal of regional racing. Beyond the numbers, the series also brought significant value to each location, with families, friends, and supporters contributing to vibrant, well-supported events that benefit both athletes and local townships.
We look forward to building on this momentum and delivering an even bigger and better Regional Race Series in 2026/27, continuing to grow participation, support our clubs, and showcase the strength of regional racing communities.
