24 Nov 2023

AusTriathlon is pleased to publish the 22/23 Annual Report – providing a report on the 2022/23 season following the first year of the sport’s new operating model and organisation’s aligned workforce.

AusTriathlon Chair Michelle Cooper and CEO Tim Harradine reported on the sport’s strong position, with growth in both event participation and membership, and a strengthened financial outlook.

From success in Birmingham to beginning the sport’s reconciliation journey, highlights of the 2022/23 season show continued delivery of our strategic objectives.

“There are many ways to view triathlon’s success over the last year, seeing our clubs and events thriving is most important,” said Harradine.

“We have launched a new modern looking brand that connects our community and can speak to new audiences while standing strongly in the Australian sporting landscape.

“And with a strong financial turnaround and reserves, we have a secure platform to carefully invest in our strategic growth initiatives.”

AusTriathlon reported an operating surplus of $56,482 at the 2023 AGM and reserves of $1.5 million, representing a strong recovery from a deficit in 2021/2022.
