South Australia season calendar announced

2 Jun 2026

The 2026/27 race calendar has dropped!

This year brings a new look and feel with South Australia joining forces with Pushing Limits to deliver another great season of racing.

South Australian, State Services Manager Laura Bond shared her excitement about the upcoming season and the new partnership with Pushing Limits.

“We’re excited for the season ahead and are looking forward to partnering up with Pushing Limits this season to ensure that members of our South Australian community are getting the best race-day experience.”

“We’re eager to see the community out there racing, participating and giving triathlon and multi-sport a go,” she said.

The calendar will officially open with the first duathlon of the season at Victoria Park, 2 August with the second race announced for 13 September 2026. It will also double as the State Duathlon Championships and World Qualifying Event making it a must register event.

In an exciting first in South Australia, we will host a twilight triathlon on 13 November alongside School Sport SA. The twilight event will be a great opportunity to combine all the elements under the sunset and even better for first timers with the protected waters of West Lakes, a great spot for new athletes to start their triathlon journeys.

The Australia Day triathlon continues to be a stalwart in the calendar. It also doubles as the State Sprint Distance Championships along with being a World Qualifying Event. Meanwhile regional races such as Bushy’s Triathlon and Moana will also feature on the calendar once again.

Clear the calendar from March 5-7 2027, with Victor 226 and Sid James Victor Harbor scheduled in the calendar for the Standard Triathlon Championship. Both events have been long standing races in the South Australian calendar and continue to be a major drawcard for those looking to push themselves beyond a standard triathlon distance.

Unfortunately, the 2026/27 calendar won’t play host to the Long Distance Championships but there will still be plenty of races to enjoy throughout the calendar.

We can’t wait to see you on the start line this season.
