The Annual General Meeting of Triathlon NSW Limited (t/as NSW Triathlon) (“Company”) will be held at 7.00pm at WEDNESDAY 18th November 2026 by TELECONFERENCE
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS for POSITION of ELECTED DIRECTOR
In accordance with the Constitution of NSW Triathlon, nominations for Elected Director must be:
- in writing
- on the prescribed form provided on this communication
- endorsed by the Recognised Triathlon Club confirming that the nominee is an individual Member of the Recognised Triathlon Club, and
- certified by the nominee (who must be a Member) expressing their willingness to accept the position for which they are nominated.
Nominations must be received by the Chief Executive Officer at least 35 days prior to the Annual General Meeting. If the number of nominations exceeds the number of vacancies to be filled, a secret ballot shall be taken in such usual and proper manner as the chair directs.
The Board shall not be comprised of more than one office bearer or Director from any single Recognised Triathlon Club. This should be noted prior to members nominating for the 2026 AGM.
The term of the positions currently held by the following expire at this Annual General Meeting (all listed in alphabetical order on their first names):
- Deanna Waters (Northern Suburbs Triathlon Club)
- Will Beukes (Cronulla Triathlon Club) who replaced Sarah Maguire who left the board February 2026.
The following, being elected at the AGM in 2024 and 2025, will continue on as Directors for the durations of their terms:
- Glenn Schwarzel (Macarthur Triathlon Club)
- Nicky Western (Scone Triathlon Club)
- Megan Goodwin (Orange Triathlon Club)
- Sarah Watson (Yass Valley Triathlon Club) who replaced Ja Davis who left the board February 2026.
The NSW Triathlon Board currently comprises three Appointed Directors:
- Lucy Burgmann (Balance Triathlon Club)
- Todd Alexis (Warringah Triathlon Club)
- Rhys Taylor (Bondi Running and Triathlon)
NSWT Board Nomination Forms and Process
All nominations should be accompanied by a Candidate Statement (no longer than 300 words, text only with no photos) outlining skills and experience appropriate to the role of a Director of a Public Company Limited by Guarantee.
A completed nomination form must be received by the CEO no later than 35 days prior to the Annual General Meeting, therefore received by 5.00 pm, Wednesday 14th October 2026.

Notices of Motion for inclusion as Special Business
In accordance with the Constitution of NSW Triathlon all Notices of Motion for inclusion in Special Business at a General Meeting must be submitted in writing (on the required form) to the Chief Executive Officer not less than 35 days (excluding receiving date and meeting date) prior to the General Meeting.
A completed Submission Form – Notice of Motion must be received by the CEO no later than 35 days prior to the Annual General Meeting, therefore received by 5.00 pm, Wednesday 14th October 2026.

Nominations for Life Membership
In accordance with the Constitution of NSW Triathlon, the Board will call for nominations from Recognised Triathlon Clubs for persons to be considered for Life Membership of the Company.
Nominations for persons to be considered for Life Membership should be submitted on the required form and must be received by the CEO no later than 35 days prior to the Annual General Meeting, therefore received by 5.00 pm, Wednesday 14th October 2026.
