Devonport turned on a massive weekend of racing with the World Triathlon Para Series and Oceania Championships all taking place before it was time to pass the baton onto Tasmania’s top triathletes who rose to the occasion in the State Series with powerful performances across both Sprint and Standard Distance events.

In the Sprint Distance, Harry Jackson and Beth Allen delivered standout races to claim the Tasmanian titles. Both athletes showcased impressive speed and control across all three disciplines, cementing their dominance in a highly competitive field.

Over in the Age Group Standard Distance, it was Georgie Ashlin and Will Clarke who stole the show. Their strength, endurance, and race-day composure saw them power to victory, rounding out a brilliant day of racing in Devonport.

From fast-paced sprints to the grit of the longer course, to kids getting out and testing the triathlon waters for the first time in the Kids Series, Tasmania’s athletes proved they’re a force to be reckoned with and their performances added extra excitement to an already buzzing weekend in Devonport.

A huge congratulations to all competitors, supporters, and volunteers who helped make the event one to remember.
