AusTriathlon Ltd (ABN 67 007 356 907) is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for two Elected Director positions on the AusTriathlon Board. These positions will be filled at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for 5:30pm on Friday, 28 November 2025, at the RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast, Queensland.
This year’s Board election comes at a pivotal time for the organisation, as triathlon in Australia celebrates the historic return of the World Championships to home soil. While this milestone has brought excitement and opportunity, it has also impacted scheduling capacity, resulting in a compressed interview timeline for nominees. AusTriathlon appreciates the flexibility and understanding of all applicants as it works to maintain a fair and thorough selection process.
About the Board and the Opportunity
AusTriathlon is governed by a skills-based Board comprising six elected and up to three appointed Directors. The Board plays a vital role in providing strategic leadership, promoting best practice governance, and guiding the growth of triathlon and multisport across Australia.
The two current Directors whose terms expire—Mr Stuart Corbishley and Mr Alexander Gosman—have indicated they will not seek re-election, creating an opportunity for new voices to join the Board.
AusTriathlon is seeking candidates who bring a diverse range of skills and experiences, particularly in the following areas:
- Commercial partnerships
- Legal
- Risk management
- Government relations
- Financial management
- Public relations, media & communications
- High performance sport
- Community sport
- Information technology & digital innovation
Eligibility and Application Requirements
To be eligible, nominees must:
- Be a current member of AusTriathlon
- Meet the qualifications and key selection criteria outlined in the Director Position Description
- Agree to be bound by the Constitution and organisational policies
- Not hold office bearer roles within AusTriathlon or any State/Territory Triathlon Associations (STTAs)

- A one-page cover letter
- A two-page CV
- Completed Elected Director Nominee Details Form
- Completed Selection Criteria Form
Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

- Interview date: Thursday 23 October 2025, commencing at 4:00pm
- Notification of eligibility: By 20 October 2025
