AusTriathlon Ltd (ABN 67 007 356 907) invites nominations for three (3) Elected Director positions on the AusTriathlon Board. The positions will be elected at the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM), to be held at 1.00pm QLD time (AEST) on Friday 27 November 2026 at voco™ Gold Coast, 31 Hamilton Avenue, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217.
About the Board and the Opportunity
AusTriathlon is governed by a skills-based Board comprising six Elected and up to three Appointed Directors. The Board plays a vital role in providing strategic leadership, promoting best practice governance, and guiding the growth of triathlon and multisport across Australia.
The terms of the following three (3) Elected Directors expire at the 2026 AGM:
- Tracie Edmondson
- Nickie Gibson
- Brian McGovern
Of the incumbent Directors eligible to nominate for re-election, Ms. Gibson and Mr. McGovern have advised that they will not be seeking re-election.
To maintain gender parity in the composition of the AusTriathlon Board, at least two (2) of these three (3) vacancies shall be filled by women.
AusTriathlon is seeking candidates who bring a diverse range of skills and experiences as outlined in the Board Search Statement and Director Position Description, particular emphasis will be placed on attracting candidates who can strengthen the Board’s identified priority capability areas of:
- Legal, governance and regulatory;
- Finance, audit and financial strategy; and
- Marketing, communications, media and brand.
Eligibility and Application Requirements
To be eligible, nominees must:
- Be willing to become a member of AusTriathlon
- Meet the qualifications and key selection criteria outlined in the Director Position Description
- Agree to be bound by the Constitution and organisational policies
- Not hold an office-bearer role within AusTriathlon or any State/Territory Triathlon Associations (STTAs)

- Completed Selection Criteria Form
Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

- Nominations close: Midnight (AEST), Wednesday 30 September
- Interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams: Thursday 8 October to Tuesday 13 October 2026
- Notification of eligibility: By Wednesday 7 October 2026
