SAVE THE DATE | SATURDAY 20 FEBRUARY 2027 FOR NSW CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS!
The event with an energy like no other is locked and loading ….
Eight hundred athletes. Club alley buzzing from first light to final finish. Division battles settled by the narrowest of margins. A historic tied result in Division 5. Sixty-five juniors flying their club colours and showing us exactly what the future of this sport looks like. 2026 NSW Club Championships was everything this event is meant to be – fierce, fun, and completely unforgettable.
Be a part of it and Save the Date: Saturday, 20 February 2027. Forster.
WHAT’S CLUB CHAMPS ALL ABOUT & WHAT’S NEW?
Club Champs has always been the event where you get to compete with your Club. Where showing up matters just as much as going fast! Where every finish line crossed and every volunteer hour given, contributes to something larger than an individual result. And this is all still true.
You’ll be excited to know we’ve had bike course update! The course will remain the same, with the exception of the cycle leg. Feedback from our post event survey was heard loud and clear, and we will be returning to the 2025 cycle course, removing the hills of Cliff Drive.
PLUS 2027 brings a new dimension to an already extraordinary event.
This year’s NSW Club Championships will also serve as a Standard Distance World Triathlon Age Group Qualifying Event for 2027. For members who dream of representing Australia on the world stage, Forster could be where that journey begins. A start line in your club colours. A finish line in green and gold!
DIVISION HONORS – EVERY MEMBER COUNTS
Many clubs in NSW will arrive in Forster with unfinished business.
Warringah will be defending their Division 1 crown after a commanding 2026 performance. But Cronulla will be determined to return it to the Southern beaches. Balmoral will be looking to back up a first Division title since 2012. Port Macquarie – who descended on Forster in 2026 with more than 50 athletes and a performance that would have placed them third in Division 1 – will be defending. BBAC will be chasing another consecutive Division 4 title. And after the remarkable tied result in Division 5, both Scone and Hat Head will arrive with one goal: undisputed glory.
This is what makes Club Champs like nothing else in the NSW calendar.
PART OF THE INTERCLUB LEAGUE 26|27
Club Champs is also a key points event for the majority of Leagues in the Interclub League Series, meaning the competition extends well beyond the finish line on race day. Results from Forster feed directly into the season-long battle for Interclub Series honours, giving clubs even more reason to arrive with full squads giving maximum effort. Club points, MVP titles to grab!
MEMBERS ONLY!
Club Champs is exclusively for financial NSW Triathlon members, because this event is built for the community that shows up week in, week out, season after season.
This is your event. The biggest club race of the year. Your reward for being part of something bigger. Your chance to race alongside your club, represent your colours, and be part of what we think, is the best race day on the triathlon calendar.
Course update: The course will remain the same, with the exception of the cycle leg. Feedback from our post event survey was heard loud and clear, and we will be returning to the 2025 cycle course, removing the hills of Cliff Drive.
