Get ready to race for your club! Entries are now open for the 2026 NSW Triathlon Club Championships, happening in Forster on Saturday, 21 February 2026.
Hosted by Elite Energy Events in partnership with NSW Triathlon, this year’s event promises fast competition, festival vibes, and a chance for every member of your club to get involved.
A Race for Everyone in Your Club
Club Champs is all about inclusivity – whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a first-timer, there’s a race for you. With multiple options across disciplines and distances, every member can contribute to the team’s points:

Standard Distance – for experienced triathletes

Standard Aquabike – swim & bike enthusiasts

Sprint Distance – fun, fast, accessible

Sprint Aquabike – for non-runners who still want to contribute

Super Sprint – perfect for newer athletes

TriKidz (ages 5–11) – FREE for current club members, thanks to the generosity of Elite Energy Events! This gives our youngest members the chance to race, have fun, and feel part of the team without any barrier to entry.
No matter your age, experience, or preferred discipline, there’s a way to race, represent, and contribute to your club’s tally.

New February Timing – Perfect Summer Conditions
The move to February ensures competitors enjoy longer days, warmer weather, and stunning warm ocean conditions. Forster in late summer provides ideal conditions for swimming, cycling, and running, making the event even more enjoyable for athletes and spectators alike.
Extend the Weekend – Open Ocean Swims & Fun Runs
The Club Champs weekend doesn’t stop on Saturday. Sunday 22 February 2026 offers a range of ocean swims and fun runs along Forster’s stunning coastline:

Run Forster – 5km and 10km fun runs along the beautiful coast (eliteenergy.com.au)
These events are open to everyone, not just NSW Triathlon or AusTriathlon members, making it a full weekend of triathlon, activity, and fun for the whole community. Please note: participation in Sunday events does not contribute points towards the 2026 NSW Triathlon Club Championships – points are earned only in the Saturday Championship races.
More Than Just a Race
As always, the Championships will conclude with a huge post-race party at Club Forster – complete with music, award presentations, a DJ, dancing, and plenty of refreshments (non-alcoholic options included). It’s a celebration of club achievements and a chance to strengthen the bonds within our triathlon community.
