Glenn, who has served as President of NSW Triathlon since 2018, was first elected to the Board in 2008.
Glenn’s current 2-year term will cease at this year’s Annual General Meeting and he and the board sees this as an opportunity to transition Vice President, Deanna Waters (NSTC), into the role of President.
As part of this planned succession, he and Deanna will work in tandem over the coming months to ensure a smooth and consistent transition.
Deanna was re-elected to the board for a two-year term at the 2023 Annual General Meeting. She has a deep and solid understanding of the importance of clubs to our overall success and the importance of supporting volunteers who run those clubs. She is an active Technical Official (ATO, CTO), part of the pathway coaching program and an age group athlete.
NSW Triathlon also welcomes Todd Alexis SC (Warringah Triathlon Club) to the Board as an Appointed Director.
Todd has practised as a barrister at the NSW Bar for over 35 years, the last 20 years as Senior Counsel and is the Chair of the Board of Governors of the Pittwater House Schools.
He has a broad commercial and appellate practice and has served on various committees of the NSW Bar Association, including professional conduct committees.
His legal and governance experience will further enhance the varied skillset of the NSW Triathlon Board.
