Set against the stunning Gold Coast backdrop, the Queensland Standard Championships were incorporated into round three of The Event Crew’s Queensland Triathlon Series at Robina on Sunday.
Iconic Queensland conditions provided hundreds of athletes from around the state with the perfect opportunity to gain valuable State Series points and contend for the coveted Age Group titles.
Some regular names competed well, including 2023 National Schoolboy Triathlon Champion Joel Humphrey and 5-time Australian World Triathlon representative Rebecca Ungermann who both finished first in their division.
