A picture perfect sunny and calm day at Pelican Park, Clontarf, set the perfect stage for the 2025 Queensland Club Championships, hosted by the Pho3nix Queensland Tri Series Round 1 on Sunday, 28 September.
Clubs from across the state converged on Moreton Bay for a spirited day of racing, with athletes of all ages and abilities competing across multiple distances to earn points for their clubs and vie for a share of the $9,000 prize pool.
In the Small Club category, Genesis Triathlon delivered a standout performance, taking top honors in their first-ever top-three finish at Club Championships. Starfish Tri Athletic finished second, and Be-Energetic Tri & Run Club claimed third.
Carina Leagues Triathlon Club successfully defended their Medium Club title, backing up their 2024 win with another strong showing in 2025. Sunshine Coast Triathlon Academy finished second, and SSG Multisport Inc took home third.
The Large Club title went to Team T-Rex Triathlon, who secured the championship for the fourth consecutive year, showcasing their continued strength and depth. Bayside Multisport finished second, and Red Dog Triathlon Training claimed the final podium spot.
In the Junior Club division, Team T-Rex Triathlon took first place, followed by Genesis Triathlon in second and Bayside Multisport in third, another milestone for Genesis Triathlon.
A massive congratulations to the almost 400 club members across 45 Queensland clubs, scoring a combined 1,768 points who brought incredible energy, passion, and camaraderie to this year’s Queensland Club Championships.
