AusTriathlon in an exciting collaboration with Fit City Events is excited to announce the 2024 Victorian Duathlon Series. This partnership highlights a joint commitment to health, fitness, and competitive spirit across Victoria, with a special emphasis on fostering connections with the sport’s grassroots through close work with triathlon clubs.
The 2024 series is set to feature diverse race categories across three dynamic events, catering to athletes of all levels. Participants will have the opportunity to compete in Sprint, Dash, Kids, and Multiclass categories, with an additional Draft Legal Sprint category available at the Sandown race.
Series Schedule and Venues:
● Race 1 at Sandown Racecourse on June 29, 2024: Offering Sprint, Dash, Kids, Multiclass, and Draft Legal Sprint categories, this race promises a fast course on a historic motor racing circuit.
● Race 2 at Caribbean Gardens on July 28, 2024: This event features Sprint, Dash, Kids, and Multiclass categories, set against the backdrop of scenic gardens.
● Series Final in Shepparton on August 24, 2024: Athletes can compete in Sprint, Dash, Kids, and Multiclass categories in the series finale, which also serves as the Regional Championship.
